Privacy & analytics

UnderNoize uses optional first-party analytics to understand traffic sources, campaign visits and how people explore events. Analytics run only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Declining does not limit the website.

What we measure

We count page views, event openings, ticket and official website clicks, use of search and filters, and app installation actions. Campaign labels come from the advertising link. For other visits, we use the referring website name when the browser provides it; we never store the referring page path, search query or full URL. When the source is unavailable, the visit is shown as direct / unknown. Device categories are mobile, tablet or desktop. We do not send this activity to Meta or Google Ads.

What we do not record

Our analytics database does not store your name, email, account ID, IP address, search text, form contents, precise location or full browsing URL. We do not record your screen or build individual visitor profiles. Our hosting provider may process normal technical request logs separately to operate and protect the website.

Storage and retention

Your analytics choice is remembered in local storage for up to 180 days. After consent, a random session identifier is stored in session storage, expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. A visit is a session, not a uniquely identified person. A temporary receipt prevents duplicate counts; it is eligible for deletion after 48 hours. Daily aggregate statistics are eligible for deletion after 90 days. Bounded cleanup runs with incoming analytics traffic, so deletion can take longer when traffic is low or paused.

We use Firebase (Google Cloud) for storage and Render for hosting. Access to reports is restricted to administrators. A temporary in-memory request limit helps prevent abuse; it does not write IP addresses to the analytics database.

Your choice

You can change your choice at any time using Analytics preferences. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement and clears the local analytics session. Already aggregated counts cannot identify your visits.
